Andrew G Haywood. BSc (Hons)MRCPod.

Andy qualified as a podiatrist in 2000, having obtained an honours degree from the Birmingham School of Podiatry. Andy was keen to experience working both privately and for the NHS so he began work part-time at a practice in Hereford and with the NHS in Oxfordshire. Despite living in Coventry at the time, he began working as an associate at a practice here too!

In 2003 Andy moved back to Coventry where he set up his own private practice. He has also been closely involved with teaching postgraduate podiatric students since 2004. In 2013 Andy became a partner at one of Coventry's largest practices which led him into becoming more involved with hospital clinics and other clinical settings within the region.

Aimee Thomas BSc (Hons) MRCPod.

Aimee Thomas has been practising podiatry for over 15 years. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Podiatry at Aston University studying at Matthew Boulton College. From here, she became a diabetic specialist working as a peripatetic podiatrist for Worcestershire NHS. In 2018  Aimee decided to focus more on her private practice career and began working with Andy at SOSpodiatry. 

 Aimee is a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and registered with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is a dedicated committee member of the Royal College of Podiatry Hereford and Worcester branch.

Wendy Brooke BSc (Hons) MRCPod.

Wendy Brooke gained her honours degree in Podiatry at Cardiff Metropolitan University over a decade ago. 

Wendy joined the SOS team in 2019 having worked in both the NHS and private sector throughout her career. She has extensive knowledge and experience of all aspects of Podiatry, priding herself on attention to detail, patient satisfaction and Diabetic foot health education.

Wendy is member of the Royal College of Podiatry, committee member of the Hereford and Worcester branch of the Royal College of Podiatry and is registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Jonathan Thomas

Jonathan qualified from Cardiff University in 1999 and started work in Swindon, quickly undertaking the Society diabetic foot module and starting diabetic foot clinics for over 4 years. He then moved to Hereford in 2003 to set up an NHS diabetic foot service. He undertook a Masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice and consequently a 24 year career in the NHS doing diabetes, high risk wound care and nail surgery. In addition to his NHS work Jonathan decided to join our team and split his time between the two organisations.
Outside of work, Jonathan is a keen walker and very much enjoys exploring the UK.
